Britannia Jewellery welcomes the Birmingham 2022 Common Wealth Games

Britannia Jewellery and our sister company Lois Bullion (41-42 Frederick Street Jewellery Quarter Birmingham) are excited to be in the centre of where the 2022 Birmingham commonwealth games will be taking place.

The commonwealth games will start on Thursday 28th July and end on Monday 8th August 2022. The opening ceremony will take place at the Alexander Stadium 7 pm-10 pm (19:00-2200) local United Kingdom time.

Back in 2017, it was confirmed that Birmingham United Kingdom will host the 2022 Commonwealth Games, making it the third time England has hosted the Commonwealth Games since London in 1934 & Manchester in 2002. The commonwealth games will be the largest sporting event of its kind ever to be held within the Midlands and Birmingham. We are expecting to welcome several million people to Birmingham this July and August.

How to get to Britannia Jewellery, Lois Bullion Jewellery Quarter Birmingham from Alexander Stadium?

Britannia Jewellery & Lois Bullion Jewellery Quarter is only 3.7 miles away from Alexander Stadium Perry Barr. Simply visit Google maps and search for “Britannia Jewellery Frederick Street Jewellery Quarter.”

Alternatively leave left from Alexander Stadium Walsall road, follow A34 from Walsall road as it merges into Birchfield road, turn right into Heathfield road past Heath Field Primary School, Mayfield school. Turning onto Barker Street then onto Hunters Road. Follow the B4100 from the roundabout. Then follow Vyse Street until you come to the roundabout with the famous large green jewellery quarter clock tower and turn into our car park at Britannia Jewellery and park up safely at our park part at the rear of the building.
